I couldn't understand why the referee called 'tackled'.

It's really our depth that won it for us. We did well in every division, from top to bottom, and that depth is what really helps.

It was teeming with a diversity of life, with mussels, tubeworms, fish and crabs. Struggles for survival were playing out before our eyes. The incredible multitude of crabs in combat with each other for existence is an image I will never forget.

There's a lot of pride at stake, even in our practice matches, ... I'm really impressed with how hard they are working. There is a lot of good competition at practice, and that helps us stay tough.

They feel relieved already, ... it's almost like the cavalry arriving in the old films.

The top team in the conference is definitely Boylan, ... They are the returning conference champs and sectional champs, so they are the team to beat. The rest of us are playing for second.

We had a really good day. Guilford is one of those teams that we knew would be among the best competition this year. We came out on top on all five. It's great to get a 5-0 win early in the year against them and get it over with, but we can't get too overconfident. Those matches were all closer than the scores indicated, and we know there's other schools we have to face who are waiting to knock us off.

That will be something new for Eddie, to go and watch a team that actually wins, or at least doesn't choke in grand finals.

He is well-conditioned and a great athlete. We want him to get into the third period and let his conditioning take over.
